FAQ

Do I need an appointment?

Yes.  All bridal services require an appointment.  Otherwise, we may not have a consultant or room available.  Appointments are limited to 1.5 hours; therefore, it   is important that  you be on time or it might be necessary to reschedule your  appointment.   We ask that you call and cancel if you are unable to keep your  appointment so the time can be given to another bride.

How long does it take to receive a bridal gown and attendants’ dresses once they have been ordered?

It takes 4-6 months to receive a bridal gown once it has been ordered, depending on the  season, and bridesmaids, flower girls and mothers dresses can take 3-5 months,  depending on the season.  Keep in mind that alterations can take 30-60 days on a  wedding gown and 15-30 days on attendants’ dresses, again depending on the  season and the extent of alterations needed.

Do I have to pay for the gown in full at the time of order?

No, for bridal gowns.  Only one-half is required  to order the gown.  The balance is due  when the gown is received.  Yes, for all attendants’ dresses.

Do I get any discount on attendants’ dresses if I buy my wedding gown at Bella’s?

Yes, bridesmaids, flower girls and mothers dresses all get a discount.

Do you do alterations?

No, but our former seamstress for several years, has opened her own alterations shop  next door to Bella’s.  Plus, we can give you a list of seamstresses and alterations shops  experienced in bridal and formal alterations.

Why do you have only one size in each style of gown?

Bella’s carries about 200 different styles of wedding gowns and 400 styles of attendants’  dresses for our customers to try on.  Financially, it is not practical to stock multiple  sizes in each gown just for customers to try on since most bride’s want a new gown.

What sizes are gowns available in at Bella’s?

Gowns can be ordered in sizes 0-32.
